Oak Cliff’s Wonder Factory to create, shop and work.

Revitalizing the area and creating a new kind of workspace

A factory in the Heart of Cliff where Oak Cliff entrepreneurs, creatives and community leaders meet, work, and play.

Founded in 2018 by Monte Anderson Tyler Station serves as a centerpoint for small business, entrepreneurs and creatives in Oak Cliff and South Dallas.

  • Taking the Creative Path Together

Temi vividly remembers the vibrant people, culture, and landscapes of Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos, Africa’s largest city (double New York's population). Temi's creativity was cultivated amid this tapestry of culture and lively influences – and though he didn’t grow up wealthy, he found joy.

  • From Kitchen Colleagues to Bread Visionaries

Tyler and Chayanne’s journey into the world of artisanal bread began in the bustling kitchens of Austin, Texas. “I kind of fell in love with just the craft of doing something everyday by hand.”

  • Turning Over A New Leaf With Community In Mind

In the sunlit fields of Brownwood, Texas, something extraordinary was taking root. Two acres of hunting land had been cleared. The foundation was laid and water and electricity were connected. From the ground up, a large greenhouse and adjoining facility were erected. And if you were to venture out among this two-acre field of crop, you would find Eddie and Martha tending to their newfound passion: The hemp flower.

  • Unleashing Generosity With Friends

When Andrew Snow moved to Norman for school, he knew he would become a doctor one day. Determined and aware of what it would take, he charted the pre-med pathway and began his journey. He took biology, chemistry, anatomy, and calculus…and though challenging, he made his way through. But then came organic chemistry…

  • Cutting a Path to Purpose

In Japanese culture, there is a term (“Ikigai”) that describes the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. It’s a way of describing a natural yet deep-rooted passion that, time and time again, draws you back in. Some never find their Ikigai – I’d say you're lucky if you do.

  • Factory Workers: Corrie Pocta, Trade Oak Cliff

Corrie Pocta, co-founder of the Artist Co-Op + Shop Trade Oak Cliff, remembers walking by Oddfellows back in 2010 as it was being built out. Construction was underway, and there weren’t many people around.

  • Factory Works: Joel Denton

As a kid, Joel remembers peeking at the movies playing at Astro Drive-In Movie Theater as his family drove by. He grew up right around there, near Polar Bear Ice Cream and Austin’s BBQ. These are a few things that have since disappeared since he was riding his bike around Oak Cliff as a kid.

  • Factory Workers: Jorge Samano, Oak Cliff Bike Synergy

Today, Jorge and his team service anywhere between 60-80+ bicycles a month. And nearly all of them are neighbors eager to get around Oak Cliff.

  • Factory Workers: Hazel, Movement HQ

“I’m not a conventional “go to the gym and get on a machine or treadmill,” person,”

Collaborative Village in the heart of Oak Cliff.

Adjacent to Tyler Vernon Rail Station.

Tyler Station is a collaborative village in the heart of Southern Dallas. The factory was originally constructed in 1925 for the Dixie Wax Paper Company, which remained in the building until 1995, when operations ended.

Today, it’s the place where Oak Cliff Entrepreneurs, Creatives and community leaders meet and work. It’s also a space for artists to express themselves and hone their craft. And naturally, it has become a gathering place for the neighborhood.

A space for passionate people to express themselves, a space for those looking to build something they can be proud of.

“Tyler Station is historic, architecturally inspiring and full of creative and talented people who make it an exciting community to be a part. We are honored to be a part of it and Monte’s vision. I don’t know of anything like it in Dallas or really any other city.”

— Doug Klembara, Owner of Wax Space
